Advent begins with preparation and waiting.
For some, this season is really a busy time. Advent begins, but there’s so much to do, so little time. For some, this is a difficult time of loneliness or disappointment. And for some, it’s the most wonderful time of the year. For children at TUMC, it’s a time to tell the old, old story once again in a fun and meaningful way in hopes that you will hear it anew this year.
Will you make room in your schedule to join us Sunday evening, December 4, at 5:30 PM to worship?
Kids have been working to learn words to new songs and memorizing lines so they can convey once again the reason for Advent. #ChristmasMashup is a combination of musicals that lead us through the process of thinking about this scripture: “There is no room in the inn.”
We hope you’ll join us at 5:30PM on Sunday as our younger kids sing some songs that will make you smile inside and out. The bigger kids will follow with their musical. They have one request of you, Come! And bring a baby gift (diapers, wipes or baby blanket). We will share them with Montopolis Friendship Community Center. Afterwards, there will be fellowship and pizza for all in the Fellowship Hall. We’ll be done before 7:00PM. I believe you’ll be glad you came!!
