How often do we miss the gifts that God is giving because we are distracted by our schedules and to-do lists?
How often do we set aside the gifts of God because what God is giving is not what we are expecting? Our sermon series through the season of Advent and Christmas is “The Wondrous Gift.” It is inspired by the third verse of the beloved carol, “O Little Town of Bethlehem,” which says:
How silently, how silently, the wondrous gift is given;
so God imparts to human hearts the blessings of his heaven.
No ear may hear his coming, but in this world of sin, where
meek souls will receive him, still the dear Christ enters in.
Jesus was silently born into the chaos of this world, bringing with him light and life to all who will receive it. His people were looking for a conquering king; God was looking to bring peace into the world and to reconcile humanity with God. Jesus may not come like we are expecting, but he is exactly what we need! When we humbly receive God’s wondrous gift, Christ enters into our lives and changes everything!

Christmas Pageant + Worship

This family friendly service includes a Christmas pageant and Holy Communion. Children of all ages are invited to join us in Rm 214 thirty minutes before each service if they would like to be a part of worship.
Christmas Candlelight Worship + Communion
5:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall
Celebrate Christmas with candlelight, music and Holy Communion. Service will include time with children.
Traditional Christmas Eve Worship
5:00, 7:00, 11:00 PM in the Sanctuary
Traditional Christmas Eve services with a sermon, Holy Communion and Silent Night sung by candlelight.
