Austin has come to the Pumpkin Patch at Tarrytown United Methodist Church for more than thirty years to celebrate the end of summer and pick out pumpkins with friends and family.
Tarrytown United Methodist Church (TUMC) is located at 2601 Exposition Blvd on the west side of Austin. The Pumpkin Patch is open through October 31 or until all of the pumpkins are gone. We sometimes have to close due to weather or lack of pumpkins, so feel free to contact the TUMC church office (512-472-3111) before your visit.
Monday to Friday, 2:00 – 7:00PM
Saturday, 9:00AM – 7:00PM
Sunday, 12:00 – 7:00PM
For more information, please contact the church office at 512-472-3111. For press inquiries, please contact David Chambers, Director of Youth Ministry.
Autumn has officially started, which means it’s time for the Pumpkin Patch.
With most of the year behind us and the holiday season just on the horizon, autumn is a time when many people reflect on the past and dream about the future. The Pumpkin Patch has always been a special place where neighbors and friends come together to reminisce and make new memories. Spend a day in the patch and you’ll see people taking baby photos, family photos, couples photos, and more! For many in our community, autumn does not officially start until our lawn is covered in pumpkins.
However, the Pumpkin Patch is more than just a place to come and get pumpkins.
Pumpkin Patch is also an opportunity for students at TUMC to raise money that supports serving our neighbors both near and far. We have been able to send students to serve all over the world, whether they are serving meals in downtown Austin or working with our ZOE Vision group in Dora, Zimbabwe.
